Reduced! Victorian ruby/diamond 5 stone 18k ring
This ring is simply stunning, but I have to be honest with myself and realize that if I haven't worn it in years, I should let it go to someone who will. The three rubies are a deep vibrant red and the european cut diamonds are very lively. Each diamond is also set with four tiny diamonds in the prongs. The tiny diamonds in the prongs appear to be somewhat primitive and are difficult to see without a loupe. The carved details are beautiful. Please note that this is a vintage ring and there are a couple of small chips in two of the rubies, however these flaws do not detract from the beauty at eye distance. The ring is stamped 18k yellow gold and has a maker's mark of "A & W". There is also a faint engraved inscription, but I have been unable to determine what it says, or if it is a date.
