Vintage carved bone drop earrings from Burma.
NOT ivory. Vintage carved bone drop earrings. 10 mm in diameter. My uncle brought these back from Burma during World War II. The carved beads are drilled all the way through, so they could be removed from the earrings and strung. The metal on the earring post and friction backs are not precious metal, but could be replaced with a more modern setting. The earring post and friction backs are original to the earrings.
My uncle also brought back a carved bone necklace with elephants to go with the earrings, but they are not a matched set. I have the elephant necklace listed separately.
