blush pink, step-cut honker

i picked this up at a gem show a very, very long time ago (probably 15 years? maybe a little longer?) and have had a notion in the back of my head about getting it set as a ring, and feeling like Elizabeth Taylor.   i haven't had it set by now and probably never will.   i was admiring it the other day and decided it ought to have a better home where it might actually be set and worn, and not hidden away.

it was sold to me as a simulated sapphire, but i've never had it tested so i have no idea what it actually is.   my pictures show it next to a 6.5mm blush pink OMC CZ from WinkCZ (which is not for sale, and not included in this listing) both for scale and to show that they're the same colour.

selling it for what i paid for it, all those years ago.

measures 14.5x17mm - it isn't the typical L:W ratio for an elongated stone, and isn't square but is closer to square than the typical emerald cut.  that's part of what i liked about it to begin with, though, it had a similar ratio & size to Elizabeth Taylor's Krupps diamond!  ....just in perfect pale pink :)

i'm Dana ♥ over on the BTD forums, if you'd rather contact me there. ;)

price includes shipping within the US, and unless i have misrepresented this item somehow this will be a final sale.  as always, feel free to email me with questions, comments, complaints and winning lottery numbers.
