Probably THE most painful piece to list for sale, but I've come to realize, as much as I LUUUURVE antique pieces, I just do not wear them often, and this gorgeous ring really deserves to be worn and loved regularly! I admired this mounting on Love Affair Diamonds' website for the longest time, then took the plunge and bought it about a year and a half ago, and I have since maybe worn it half a dozen or so times. I had Erica's bench resize it to a size 7 (though it fits like a 7.25 due to the open area under the center stone), and set a 7.5 mm RB moissanite in it that was from the newer unenhanced rough (but not Forever One). This stone is gorgeous and has beautiful arrows that I have a hard time capturing in pictures in the setting. It's very white with no oddball coloring. I can provide pictures of it loose as well to see the faceting. The antique mounting is platinum with beautiful millegrain, engraving and piercework; has 14 small accent diamonds (I believe they are single cuts; can try to get a picture of them with my loupe and camera if desired); and 6 channel-set baguette blue sapphires (3 on each side). In looping it to see the diamond cuts, I noticed one of the tiny sapphire baguettes appears to have a horizontal inclusion or possible scratch that is not visible to the naked eye (or even when wearing my glasses), and it does not detract at all from the beauty of this ring. I didn't have a loupe when I bought it, so it may have always been there; I can't be sure but I want to share what I saw in the interest of transparency. If this ring stays with me forever, I really won't be heartbroken because it is such a gorgeous, heirloom-quality antique ring, and who knows, my taste may change down the road and I may wear it more. But if there is someone else out there who will love and wear it now, then that's a sacrifice I'm okay with by letting it go to a new owner. I am open to selling just the mounting, and having the Moissanite unset by a reputable bench; just email me to discuss. Also happy to send additional pictures, video, etc. Payment via PP; will include insured priority/signature required USPS S/H in the U.S. Sale is final/no returns, as I'm selling from my personal collection; however, given my comment about the one sapphire, I will allow a 24 hour inspection period which - if return/refund is requested via email - buyer is responsible for insured USPS priority mail with signature.
